On this CD, the shades, admonishes the X, Y, and Z generations to get their acts together. The CD is in true shades fashion, it has messages, funky music, and excellent lyrics.

The songs, "You're Special" and "Your Past is Your Past", contain powerful messages that let the listener know that they are special no matter what their life has been like.  The songs, penned by DM Adkins, are very dear to her heart.  She has a friend who was physical, emotionally, and sexually abused for many years of her childhood.  DM Adkins said, "The person that inspired these songs is a powerful woman of God.  She is absolutely awesome. I know her story and to see the person that she is today, it is an amazing transformation and testimony, that your past doesn't have to predict your future."
